The location of this hotel was perfect, right in the center of Bowness. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had the best night's sleep in ages. The bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Plus, getting to use the spa facilities at the nearby Old England hotel was a fantastic bonus. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning.

The hotel is conveniently located near everything, with all amenities within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice touches like complimentary water and Kendal mint cake. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the bar downstairs offers a good selection of drinks.

The bathroom lacks sanitary bins, which is a minor inconvenience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Bowness-on-Windermere. The location was perfect, right at the top of the high street and very close to the lake. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I was impressed by the attention to detail, with complimentary bottled water and kendal mint cake in the room. The hotel facilities, including the pub and restaurant, were well-presented and looked great.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. the value for money was exceptional, especially considering the prices in the area. The basic amenities were all there, and our room even had a view of beautiful Lake Windermere. The comfy bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the breakfast provided was satisfying.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the fact that the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and that the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also great being within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants, as well as being able to easily access the boat rides for sightseeing. I really enjoyed having hot chocolate and biscuits provided in the room for a cozy night in.

the noise from the nearby main road was quite loud, though it seemed like the hotel had done their best to alleviate it. Finally, the staff were not always available at reception, which made it difficult when trying to check out and leave the hotel.

Convenient location, just a short walk to Bowness Pier and bus stop right outside. Exceptional food, had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Amazing and welcoming staff. Booked again for August.
