The location of this hotel was perfect, right in the center of Bowness. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had the best night's sleep in ages. The bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Plus, getting to use the spa facilities at the nearby Old England hotel was a fantastic bonus. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Bowness-on-Windermere. The location was perfect, right at the top of the high street and very close to the lake. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the fact that the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and that the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also great being within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants, as well as being able to easily access the boat rides for sightseeing. I really enjoyed having hot chocolate and biscuits provided in the room for a cozy night in.

the noise from the nearby main road was quite loud, though it seemed like the hotel had done their best to alleviate it. Finally, the staff were not always available at reception, which made it difficult when trying to check out and leave the hotel.

The rooms were comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel's location on the main road. The cleanliness was impeccable, both in the rooms and the bathrooms. The hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. It was also a short walk to Beatrix Potter World and the lake. a very pleasant stay.
