We recently stayed at a charming pub with accommodation on the South Downs Way. The location was perfect, within easy reach of other similar pubs in the area. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely wood decor and a powerful shower in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast menu was small but delicious, and we enjoyed the complimentary snacks during quiz night. The hotel also had ample car parking and lovely gardens, creating a peaceful ambiance.

The food was of high quality, and the village location near the church was charming. The surrounding area offered beautiful walks with stunning views of the South Downs. Additionally, it was great to know that they allow dogs in certain apartments. The car parking at the rear of the pub was convenient, and there was usually free parking available in the surrounding roads. a great place to stay, especially for people who enjoy karaoke and casinos.

There were a few maintenance issues that could be improved. the shower walls had brown staining and needed a good scrub, and the skylight's remote control blind wasn't working.
