The food at the evening meal was excellent, with a delicious steak and chips. The hotel's location in the beautiful countryside was perfect for exploring the South Downs and visiting Chichester. I felt very safe during my stay, as the hotel had implemented a one-way system and provided plenty of hand sanitizer. The room I stayed in was lovely, with views of the garden and a comfortable bed. The hotel also had great attention to detail, providing amenities like a rubber tray for wet boots and a cafetière with ground coffee in the room. The breakfast was exactly as it should be, with delicious local yoghurt and homemade jams.

The room was magnificent, with every detail thought of. The character of the estate was fabulous, and the countryside setting was beautiful. The bed and bedding were incredibly soft, and the bath was great. The small touches, like delivering fresh milk for tea or coffee in the morning, made it even more special. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. The dinner at the hotel was impeccable, with the best venison I've ever had and an incredible steak.

We stayed at The White Horse for a weekend trip to Chichester Theatre and loved it. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Holly. The food menu had plenty of options and the cooked breakfast with mini blueberry muffins was a highlight. We can't wait to return and try their dinner menu next time!

the Rabbit room was cozy and provided a peaceful night's sleep. the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was beautifully cooked. I particularly enjoyed the walks to the South Downs Way and the beers on tap, especially the Neck Oil. I would highly recommend this place for walkers. the room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and a decent-sized TV. the tea/coffee facilities in the room were excellent, including a cafetiere with proper coffee. A real milk was delivered to my door in the morning.
