The food at the evening meal was excellent, with a delicious steak and chips. The hotel's location in the beautiful countryside was perfect for exploring the South Downs and visiting Chichester. I felt very safe during my stay, as the hotel had implemented a one-way system and provided plenty of hand sanitizer. The room I stayed in was lovely, with views of the garden and a comfortable bed. The hotel also had great attention to detail, providing amenities like a rubber tray for wet boots and a cafetière with ground coffee in the room. The breakfast was exactly as it should be, with delicious local yoghurt and homemade jams.

The bed and bedding were incredibly soft, and the bath was great. The small touches, like delivering fresh milk for tea or coffee in the morning, made it even more special. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. The dinner at the hotel was impeccable, with the best venison I've ever had and an incredible steak.

We stayed at The White Horse for a weekend trip to Chichester Theatre and loved it. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We can't wait to return and try their dinner menu next time!
