Liked staying in the city center, just a few steps away from the main attractions. Loved the spacious and clean room and the friendly staff who were very helpful. the reasonable price for a city center location was also a bonus.

Disliked the noise caused by ongoing roadworks that started pretty early in the morning. the quality of the breakfast could have been better and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at the White Horse. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the pub atmosphere was perfect, adding to the overall experience. the location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city center. I also appreciated the convenience of the nearby car park, just a short 5-minute walk away. the cost of my stay was very reasonable, especially considering the unique experience I had compared to the usual hotel chains. the highlight of my stay was the "steak night," where I enjoyed a delicious meal. the room I stayed in was spacious and had stunning views over the gallery. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I must mention how lovely the staff, particularly Claire and Evie, were during my stay. I highly recommend the White Horse for a memorable and affordable stay in the city.

We were thrilled with our recent stay at a hotel in York. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all of York's main attractions. We were able to walk to numerous eating places, making it incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well stocked with toiletries. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing us with early check-in and helpful advice. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. Plus, we had a lovely view of a square with fountains from our window.

There were some minor issues with maintenance in the bathroom.
