My Christmas stay was wonderful! the room had crisp and cozy bedding, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Plus, it was located just a short walk away from the venue where I attended a wedding. the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay feel like home away from home.

There were a few minor issues that detracted from my experience. the lack of hanging space in the room meant I had to keep all my clothes on a coat stand, and the breakfast price didn't include any drinks, which I found odd.

The location of the room at Stable Yard Rooms was ideal and the room itself was comfortable. I appreciated the owner contacting me beforehand with instructions for check-in since the pub attached to the property was closed. They even recommended another pub in the village where we could grab dinner before it closed. The courtyard facing the room was beautiful and added to the Mediterranean-like atmosphere. The couple managing the property were amazing, always ready to help and very friendly. The room was modern and clean, with a great shower and a super comfy bed. The owners provided a contact number for any assistance we needed and were quick to respond and offer their help. Self check-in was a breeze, and having 24-hour access to the room was convenient. a fantastic experience with attentive hosts and a lovely room.

We had an exceptional stay at Stable Yard Rooms in Richmond. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff and owners were outstanding. They made us feel right at home with their warm and helpful service. the rooms, bar, and restaurant were all very clean and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful walk into Richmond. And we were thrilled to hear that the owners are opening a deli soon, eliminating the only drawback of not having a shop. the comfortable beds and delicious food and wine made it hard to resist staying in all day! If you're looking for a relaxed retreat with farm-grown food, gluten-free desserts, amazing wine, and local beer, this is the place to go.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with the sound of doves and distant church bells creating a serene atmosphere. The interior of the old building was beautifully decorated.
