I had a fantastic stay at this cozy bed and breakfast. The location was beautiful and peaceful, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a great variety to choose from. The room was clean and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. Despite the ongoing renovations, it didn't affect my stay at all. I highly recommend Woodlands Bed & Breakfast for a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled in a delightful peaceful valley, just a short walk from the beach. The room was absolutely wonderful with its clean and comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a luxurious free-standing bath. The service provided by the owners was warm and friendly, and they made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options like homemade smoothies, overnight oats, and black pudding. The hotel also had a well-stocked bar and lovely grounds for guests to enjoy. it was a perfect location for a relaxing beach getaway.

That the spiral staircase leading to the room was a bit unstable and tight, which may not be ideal for those who are of a larger size.

our stay at the woodlands was absolutely wonderful. the breakfast was amazing, the location and hotel were fantastic, and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. they gave us all the information we needed to explore the area and find dog-friendly places. we'll definitely be going back!

We had a fantastic stay at The Woodlands for a weekend getaway. Rosie and Darryl, our hosts, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing, with a great selection to choose from. The 'tick list' ordering system was a brilliant idea, ensuring we got exactly what we wanted. The homemade plum jam by Rosie was absolutely delicious and the eggs from their own chickens were a treat. The room was comfortable with a decent-sized TV and a unique double-headed shower cubicle. The in-house bar was a convenient option, and the reliable taxis made it easy to explore Whitby. We highly recommend this place and have already re-booked for next year. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better experience!

The lack of a comfortable chair to relax on in the room. Although there was an attractive wooden bench, it wasn't practical for sitting and unwinding after a long day.
