Excellent breakfast, helpful owner, amazing pool, close to main beach and restaurants , clean room.

We had a wonderful stay at Morning Star. the family owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, and coffee to start our day off right. the pool facilities were a great addition, allowing us to relax and cool off in the afternoon. In terms of location, we were pleased to find that there were plenty of beaches and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore the area.

Morning Star Mirissa is a hidden gem! The value for money here is unbeatable, with clean and comfortable budget rooms, and for those who want to splurge a bit, there are cabanas by the pool. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-maintained shared balcony in the extended garden to the terrace with a stunning view. The rooms are spacious, with large high four poster beds for a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast is a delight, with wonderful tropical fruit, homemade bread, and even some fluffy pancakes thrown in.

All was perfect, no complaints whatsoever.

The breakfast they prepared for me was absolutely delicious, with a variety of fruits, yogurt, toasts, and pancakes. The beach was just a short walk away, and it was clean and beautiful. The location was also convenient, with great restaurants nearby. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a great experience staying at a friendly family guest house just across the road from a very quiet beach. The rooms were beautiful and well decorated, with modern and clean bathrooms. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was outstanding. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoon and the garden was a serene place to relax.

The transfer price to the next hotel was a little overpriced compared to other places in the area.

Beautiful location near a quiet turtle beach with a great restaurant. Friendly and fantastic family manages the guesthouse. Rooms are nice, pool is private, and the food is delicious. Feels like a home rather than a hotel. Conveniently located near a quieter area of the beach.

Staying at Morning Star made my time in Mirissa truly memorable.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lovely balconies and views of the garden and pool. The breakfast offers a variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit, eggs, toast, and yogurt. Some rooms might be a bit far away from the main beach, although there is a nice beach close to the hotel.

The place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere with helpful staff. the interior and exterior were beautifully decorated, with attention to detail and personal touches. the breakfast was delicious, and the location was great, being close to the beach, lovely restaurants, and yoga studios.

Some of the rooms faced a noisy road and could be distracting. It would have been better if we had requested a room facing the back or paid for a newer room with better soundproofing.
