had a lovely stay in grasmere, the hotel exceeded expectations with a great location, food, and facilities. ruskin suite upgrade was a bonus and the restaurant meals were fantastic. enjoyed strolling around and relaxing in the beautiful gardens. will definitely return!

I recently stayed at The Wordsworth Hotel in Grasmere for a few nights. The hotel's location was excellent, with beautiful lounges and well-kept gardens for relaxing. The staff were polite and hard-working, and the food at the Dove Bistro was nice and imaginative. The spacious and clean room had a good choice of refreshments, and the breakfast was very tasty. The hotel grounds offered great views of the fells, and I felt comfortable bringing my well-behaved child along. the staff made the whole experience effortless and enjoyable.

That our room was a bit noisy, especially during meal times with the sounds coming from the kitchen. there were some maintenance issues in the room, such as a window that wouldn't fully close and damp stains on the wallpaper.

We recently spent a weekend in a charming village hotel and we were blown away by the excellent food and friendly staff. They upgraded us to a suite with stunning decoration and fantastic coffee facilities. the breakfast had a wide variety of options and was so tasty - perfect to start a busy day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed a pre-booked swim in the pool, a great way to relax and unwind.

The standard room we booked was a bit outdated and not as comfortable as we had hoped. the bedding, curtains, and furniture needed a refresh and the bed felt unstable with the mattress topper.

During our 2-day stay in Room 15 with a Village View, we were impressed by the newly decorated room and its lovely view. The lounges provided a restful atmosphere, and the friendly and attentive staff made our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is ideal, with plenty of nearby walks for all levels of difficulty. The breakfast selection was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the smoked bacon option. we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
