The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and helpful throughout our stay.- The hotel is located in a charming village and surrounded by beautiful countryside.- The food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast had a good variety of choices.

The soundproofing in the rooms was poor, and we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and above. Some rooms were on the small side, and being on the ground floor meant that footsteps from the room above were loud.

Stayed at Tudor Farmhouse for a weekend getaway. the hotel offers charming rooms with thoughtful amenities like a fridge and dressing table. Beautifully landscaped outdoor areas. Delicious meals served in the restaurant with an extensive wine menu. Excellent attention to detail, including fluffy towels and a variety of toiletries. Quiet village location near the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

We had a fantastic city break at this hotel! the rooms were beautifully decorated with lots of character, and had all the modern comforts we needed. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby attractions in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered superb food for both breakfast and dinner, using locally sourced ingredients.

That our room got a bit warm, as there was only one small window that opened. It would have been nice to have more air flow.

In the heart of the charming village of Clearwell, this hotel is nestled among the beautiful Forest of Dean. The building, dating back to Tudor times, has been restored to a high standard, with quirky and individual bedrooms and public rooms. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the tasteful decorations and soft furnishings in the well-fitted rooms to the excellent tea making facilities and nice toiletries provided. The staff are welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay special. The breakfast offers a delicious choice of hot dishes and a lovely buffet with plenty of options, all made with local ingredients.

All in all, everything was just fine.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was very close to Clearwell Castle where we attended a wedding. We were able to walk to the castle and it was convenient having the pub right next door for a quick drink before the ceremony. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings and had all the necessary amenities including a fridge with fresh milk and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was luxurious with a vintage bathtub and a spacious walk-in shower. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast selection was outstanding.

The restaurant prices were a bit on the expensive side, especially considering the portion sizes.

Had a great stay after a wedding party, the staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable, it felt like home. the food was just delicious and prepared perfectly. I was also impressed with the surroundings and views of the property, which made for a really nice atmosphere.

The prices in the restaurant, which were a bit high for what was being offered. However, this was easily remedied by eating at another nearby restaurant which was of great quality and very affordable.

I had a fantastic stay at a secluded and beautiful location. the drive from London was especially scenic if you go via southeast Wales. the suite I stayed in had stunning surroundings and was very comfortable. the restaurant served brilliant food and the cocktails were great too. the staff were lovely and provided excellent service. This was not my first time staying at Tudor Farmhouse, and just like previous visits, I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. I will definitely be coming back.
