Tuppenhurst impresses with its high, end finish and decor, making for a chic stay. the serene location near the canal is perfect for tranquil walks and the bed linens were crisp and inviting.

While the rooms were well, appointed, the lack of a TV, soap/shower gel, and limited storage options left something to be desired. Some areas felt impersonal, and the heating could use a tweak for a more comfortable stay.

We will definitely return if we're in the area again.

During my recent business trip, my director selected Tuppenhurst Barn in Rugeley as our stay, and I must say, the surrounding area was simply picturesque. the easy parking and proximity to the canal for leisurely walks were delightful. the bed linen was clean and crisp, and the young man who tended to breakfast was exceptionally pleasant. the room I stayed in was immaculate, and the thoughtful touches for my dog made me feel right at home. the shower was amazing, the bed was incredibly cozy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the homemade cakes left for us—they were a lovely surprise that added to the overall experience. Truly, this location provided a comfortable and peaceful base for exploring the area, and the fact that it's dog-friendly was a massive bonus. I felt at ease having my furry companion with me during my stay.

Great value for money, the room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with the canal and lovely pubs within walking distance. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the homemade cakes left for us were a delightful surprise.

It was evident that a lot of effort had been put into renovating them to a very high standard. the contactless check-in process was seamless, and the communication with the staff was excellent. it was the ideal destination for our rustic themed wedding, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
