Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens, accommodating staff, amazing food , comfortable room. Attentive, professional, friendly staff. Pet friendly atmosphere appreciated.

Almost perfect.

The location of this hotel is just what we wanted - in the heart of Dartmoor with lovely scenery and walking on the doorstep. The rooms had a bath with toiletries and hot drink options, and they were beautiful and better than expected, very quiet with no disturbances from other guests. The service from the staff was amazing, they were friendly and accommodating.

Couldn't fault.

The staff, especially Pavel, were attentive and helpful. The hotel had a small and authentic feel, which was exactly what we were looking for. The cozy atmosphere with open fires added to the overall charm. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection and delicious eggs benedict.
