Everything was fantastic.

The rooms were comfortable and had some cool gadgets like an Alexa and a Dyson air purifier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site Starbucks was a welcome sight and the ironing board and iron in the room were helpful additions.

The design of the rooms was odd, with no window in the bedroom and a frosted glass door in the bathroom. The gym and pool were busy and not ideal for hotel guests.

Comfy bed, fluffy towels, modern design, plenty of artificial light, big television.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

I must say, the location of this hotel is quite convenient. It is close enough to the city centre and the historic dockyards, which are only a short distance away. there is a lovely lake nearby with pleasant parkland for relaxing walks. On top of that, there is a laundry or dish washing area conveniently located next to the hotel.

The staff at the bar were not very attentive, often more engaged in their own conversations rather than serving guests.

The hotel had secure parking for our campervan and the gym was cheap to use. We also enjoyed having a Starbucks next to reception for our morning coffee fix. The location was perfect for catching our ferry to Spain.

The food and drink prices were exorbitantly expensive and there was only one working lift during our stay. The bar closed early if there were fewer than ten people using it, leaving no options for residents to get a drink after hours.

My recent stay at the Village Hotel was fantastic. We stayed for three nights while visiting family in the area. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a lovely pool area that was spotless. We enjoyed the complementary Easter chocolate eggs left on our bed along with fresh fluffy towels. The hotel was conveniently located near the motorway and had a large and secure car park. We also appreciated having Alexa in our room, which was a new and fun experience for us.

Our room was quite small, and we didn't have much of a view. We were disappointed that we had to pay extra for the car park.

The turkish bath provided an added touch of luxury. the comfort and quality of this hotel were beyond our expectations.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The bed was huge and super comfortable, making for a fantastic night's sleep. The bathroom was well laid out and the shower gel smelled amazing. I also want to give a shout-out to the efficient air conditioning, which kept the room at a perfect temperature. Another highlight of my stay was the gym facilities, which were top-notch and definitely one of the best reasons to choose this hotel.

The hotel is strategically located near the ferry port back to France and just off the motorway, making it convenient for travelers. There are also supermarkets in the vicinity, providing easy access to necessities. Additionally, the hotel is close to the sea, offering a pleasant view.

I recently stayed at Village Hotel in Portsmouth for a business trip.
