The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the village and across the road from the Lamb Inn pub, where I enjoyed some delicious meals. The house itself was beautiful and the gardens were immaculate. My room was spacious and had a lovely view of the church. The service provided by Rowena was exceptional, she went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. I also appreciated the clean and functional bathrooms. a fantastic experience.

The lack of a downstairs cloakroom, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

We stayed at Wartling Place for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The host, Rowena, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great variety of good quality ingredients. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Eastbourne, Hastings, Battle, Bexhill, and the South Downs. The stunning views from the immaculate lawns were an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

the hotel's exclusive amenities such as the Sun terrace and Garden area provided a peaceful environment which was perfect for relaxing. We were impressed with the service provided, as our needs were fulfilled in a thoughtful manner. the room advantages were exceptional, with beautiful decor and private facilities which made us feel pampered. the room service breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations.

The village is idyllic and well-located near a castle and science center making it easy to explore. the pub is welcoming and cozy. One more plus is that the hosts are amicable and friendly offering a warm welcome.

The entrance was unattractive, and the hallway poorly lit with an old carpet. the twin room was ill-suited for summer, causing us to request the window to be opened.

Wonderful B&B in quiet location. Large, comfortable room. Four poster rooms available. Charming host, offered tips and made dinner reservations. Generous breakfasts. Highly recommend.
