As young families, we loved the bright and clean rooms with good storage. The extensive seating areas for residents to relax and eat were a big plus. The staff was wonderfully friendly and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Having on-site parking was convenient. The highlight was the breakfast overlooking the lake, with the boats, ducks, and swans, all against the beautiful backdrop of the hills.

It felt like our own home, with nothing being too much trouble.

The location of the inn is fantastic, right on the edge of Windermere with stunning lake views. It's also conveniently located next to a lovely park, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with luxurious baths and monsoon showers. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The menu could have been more varied, offering a wider selection of main meals, including pasta dishes.

We spent Easter in a hotel which was located close to the lake and had a spectacular view of the surroundings. the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. we were thrilled by the complementary Easter eggs and hot cross buns. the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was central to many attractions in the area.

Although the hotel had a great view, the restaurant prices were expensive, and the food was just average. the breakfast was crowded, and there were long waiting times.
