loved the stay at this cozy spot in tarbert. west loch house amazed with updated rooms, spotless bathrooms, and a delightful breakfast. staff were accommodating and welcoming, making our late arrival seamless. definitely top choice for islay ferry trips!

We stayed at a guest house in an undisclosed location and found the accommodation to be comfortable and unchanged. the owners put a lot of effort into the renovation, resulting in clean and well-equipped rooms. the beds were particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast options included both cooked and lighter options, providing something for everyone's taste. the hosts were incredibly nice and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

I got great value for my money at West Loch House. The room was perfect for a solo traveler, with newly done-out decor that was clean and fresh. The hotel is conveniently located near the ferry terminals and offers a peaceful view of the loch. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, even when I arrived late in the evening.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from offering more flexibility for guests who have early departures and are unable to enjoy breakfast before 7am.

Fantastic cooked breakfast, best ever. Great views, comfortable room, large bathroom. Everything new and clean. Close to ferry, lovely spot, quiet with harbour. Late check-in, perfect single guest room. Reasonable rate for breakfast. Very clean, good chat with host. Fresh decor. Ideal location near ferry terminal. Friendly and helpful hosts. Plenty of private parking. Great location overlooking loch.
