We had a wonderful time during our romantic escape. The room was incredibly comfortable and spacious, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time together. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We loved the fact that the hotel had free parking and good Wi-Fi, making our trip hassle-free. Additionally, the location was perfect as it served as a great base for exploring the nearby Lake District.

The lack of toiletries provided in the room. It would have been nice to have some essential amenities readily available.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. the staff at West Point House were incredibly pleasant and showed caring compassion during my stay. the cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and I felt safe and secure as a solo guest. the amenities were very good, and the hotel provided a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. the location was also great, with easy access to the Lake District and nearby nature reserves. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional standard of cleanliness, friendly staff, and affordable price.

The room I stayed in at West Point House was incredibly clean and cozy, making it feel like a second home. The lounge and kitchen facilities provided a great space to relax and enjoy the nice garden view. The staff member I interacted with was very informative and accommodating, ensuring that all my requests were met. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the Lake District. The peaceful atmosphere allowed me to truly unwind and enjoy my stay.

While the heating in my room wasn't working properly, leading to a slightly cold environment, it was the only major drawback of my stay. Additionally, it would have been nice to have toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo provided, as well as a higher tog duvet and more comfortable pillows for a better night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at West Point House. The room mix-up was quickly resolved and our ensuite room by the garden was lovely and quiet. The shared kitchen with dedicated storage space was a great bonus for cooking and keeping drinks cold. The location on Walney Island was beautiful, with scenic walks and activities nearby. The staff, especially Alice, were incredibly helpful. The property, like a big house, was well-maintained with clean shared areas. The new glamping addition is something we'll definitely book next time. A great place to stay with reasonable prices.

My partner and I had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the communal kitchen which was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our Christmas dinner. the sitting room was great too, with a big TV that had all the channels we wanted. We were also delighted to find out that the hotel was close to the beach and the Lake District, making it easy for us to explore the surroundings.

That the sitting room and kitchen could get crowded at times. As someone who gets a bit claustrophobic, this was a bit uncomfortable for me.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a great stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The location is fantastic, with beautiful beaches and scenic walks just a short distance away. Plus, the shared kitchen is a fantastic bonus, allowing you to cook your own meals and store food easily. great value for money!
