absolutely horrendous experience. the restaurant served fish that tasted like it came from the freezer, not fresh at all. and the staff? a young waiter who seemed to hate his job. could have definitely used an upgrade or a complimentary gesture after all these inconveniences, but that was too much to ask, it seems. never again.

Try to secure a room with a bay view for breathtaking scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast menu features exceptional local dishes worth savoring.

Wakin’ up to that stunning view of Tobermory Bay was just what I needed! The food was a real treat, especially breakfast—such a spread, and all mighty fine. Staff were as friendly as pie too, helpin’ us along with anythin’ we needed. That short walk down to the town? Sweet little exercise after good meals. Real nice place.

The location is fantastic (elevated above Tobermory for beautiful views)! The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of tasty options and a stunning view of the harbor. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help.

Temperature control in the shower could be improved. it was challenging to get the right balance of hot water. Also, the steep hill up to the property might be an issue for some guests.

Waking up to the expansive views of Tobermory Bay was a treat. The staff were genuinely friendly, always eager to help, and the food in the dining room was top-notch, especially the fresh fish. I’d highly recommend trying the local dishes!

However, the hotel’s age showed in certain areas. The steep hill leading to the hotel was quite the workout, especially after a long day exploring. Parking was also a hassle. we had to return early to secure a spot. No lift might be an issue for some guests.

Warm and welcoming staff made our stay enjoyable the food was good with generous portions and lovely views over the water from the restaurant great atmosphere in the lounge area as well as outside seating to soak in the scenery

The bathroom required some updates and service could be improved to better accommodate peak times

Absolutely loved the stunning views from our upgraded suite! The decor was charming and spotlessly clean, making our stay so special. Plus, our dog was treated like royalty by the lovely staff, which was a delight.

That steep hill to reach the hotel? A real workout! And who needs a gym membership when you have no lifts and lots of stairs?

the wifi was super slow. but the views from our room were fantastic! loved the spacious outdoor patio. and the food quality in the restaurant was exceptional! breakfast had such a great variety.

Gazing at the stunning harbor views while enjoying breakfast was my favorite part. The staff made our beloved pet feel welcome, which added a special touch to our stay. Exploring picturesque places like the sacred Isle of Iona left us all breathless.

My wife says that having no lift made carrying luggage tough.
