The building looks like a castle, took about 2 hours to drive from Liverpool. Staff were kind, showed us to the room and shared hotel stories. Dining was great, even for non-British food lovers. Lost wallet, staff helped search everywhere, very patient. Gentleman at reception gave bread for breakfast, super nice. Found wallet in car. Would come back to meet friendly people.

We stayed at a lovely ancient property that has been transformed into a restaurant and wedding venue. the rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. the gardens were pretty and there was a good car park available. the hotel staff were kind and showed us to our room, sharing stories about the hotel. the dining experience was great, with delicious British food. We highly recommend giving it a try. the gentleman at the reception went above and beyond to help me find my lost wallet, even offering me some bread for breakfast when I was in a hurry the next day.
