We had a wonderful stay at Woodlands Lodge. The staff, especially Holly, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic, with the forest right through the gate. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the rooms were beautiful. The food was exceptional, both the breakfast and dinner. We also appreciated the staff's recommendation for a nearby pub when we arrived late. a fantastic experience that we would gladly repeat.

The staff is friendly and efficient, and they provide great instructions and recommendations for local attractions. The location is excellent, with beautiful gardens leading straight into the forest. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a fridge. The food is superb, with a comprehensive menu using fresh, local produce. The hotel is also dog-friendly, with rooms where you can dine with your furry friend.

Felt like a true getaway, with staff always ready to assist and ensure all needs are met.

Recently stayed at Woodlands Lodge for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful New Forest, with direct access from the hotel gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The food, from breakfast to dinner, was delicious and the service was prompt. Our room was elegant and well-appointed, with a comfy bed and a generous supply of tea and coffee. The hotel also provided dog beds and treats for our furry friends, and Room 17 was perfect for them, with a separate lounge and a secure courtyard.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was bright and clean, with all the facilities we needed. The hotel had a lovely garden at the back where we could relax and enjoy our breakfast. The location was great, with beautiful walks in the nearby New Forest. The breakfast itself was amazing, with a wide variety of high-quality ingredients.

The hotel is set in a quiet, woody area, perfect for a peaceful retreat. The room was very large and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a blanket, towel, and treat for our dog. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of hot food options. there are several pubs and restaurants nearby in the lovely setting of the new forest, allowing for a variety of dining choices.

The bed was not comfortable, with a ridge in the middle and it slipped away on both sides.

the location was fantastic, and the hotel itself was very pleasant. the staff were extremely helpful, and when we had an issue with the TV not working on the first night, they took care of it swiftly and replaced it immediately. the reception also provided us with great recommendations for nearby restaurants and local attractions. I particularly loved the spacious room with its well-lit interior and the steps leading down into it. the hotel also provided leaflets with lovely walks around the beautiful New Forest. the dinner we had at the hotel's restaurant was amazing, and the overall family-run atmosphere made us feel very welcome. the comfortable bedrooms and good-sized bathrooms added to the enjoyable experience. the menu offered delicious options, and at £30 for three courses, it was very reasonable.

This hotel is such great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is superb. From the beautiful grounds in the new forest to the rooms with a view over the gardens, everything is thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the rooms with a balcony overlooking the garden - such a lovely view to wake up to! Plus, the staff catered for my vegan diet during breakfast, ensuring I had plenty of delicious options to choose from.
