We had a delightful stay at this 4-star hotel. The location in a beautiful garden and wonderful countryside made for a truly serene and picturesque setting. The service provided was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room itself was spacious and luxurious, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and a variety of refreshing juices and smoothies. The receptionist who greeted us was especially attentive and made us feel warmly welcome.

Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor hiccups. The service at busy times was understandably slow due to short staff, which made us feel sorry for the hardworking bar staff.

The staff at Lovely Location handled the fire alarm well and the breakfast team efficiently managed a large number of guests during the hotel evacuation. The room was comfortable and clean, and the food was of excellent quality. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. the grounds were absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, providing a picturesque backdrop for our holiday. We particularly enjoyed the spa area and the comfortable and warm pool. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

There were a couple of aspects that could have been improved during our Christmas stay. the food during dinner was not great, lacking in flavors and choices.

This place is a hidden gem! The location is an absolute selling point - so beautiful and perfect for a weekend away. The gardens here are worth exploring, designed by John Evelyn who was born here. They are great for walking, photography, sitting, and reading - with seats everywhere if you can't walk far. The service here is top-notch, with room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry all available. They even offer a welcome drink upon arrival! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, and they were very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the area. The amenities in the room were amazing, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The general manager, Caroline, personally ensured that every detail was taken care of and even went as far as personally helping with the corsages for the groom's party. The dining options were excellent, and the breakfast was extensive and very enjoyable. The leisure facilities, including the indoor swimming pool and sauna, provided a great way to relax and unwind. This place truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel for a short family break. We booked a family room and were pleasantly surprised by the care and attention given to the place. The gardens were lovely, and the breakfast buffet was enjoyed by everyone. While there were a few disappointments, like the limited pool access for children and the small size of the room, the hotel made up for it with their friendly reception staff who went out of their way to arrange tennis court usage for us. I would recommend this hotel, especially for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
