Great restaurant food and service. Rooms a bit disappointing, expected more finesse. Rooms were cold and couldn't adjust AC. No robes for pool. Confusing towel arrangement at pool. Faulty kettle and dated hairdryer. No magnifying mirror in bathroom. No TV lounge to watch rugby. Would stay again, but with lower expectations.

my recent stay at wigan hotel was exceeded by my stay at wrightington. from the clean rooms, helpful staff, and excellent facilities, it was truly a pleasant surprise. the location by the motorway was also a great bonus. everything about this hotel was top-notch and made my stay enjoyable.

We stayed at Wrightington Hotel & Health Club for one night and it was perfect for our needs. The location just off the M6 motorway made it easy to find, and the ample free parking was a bonus. The modern and spacious reception area and room were both clean and comfortable. The restaurant had a great ambiance and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was of a decent standard, although the vegetables were slightly undercooked. The leisure facilities, including the pool, hot tub, and steam room, were clean and enjoyable. The gym facilities were also great.
