I recently stayed at YHA Grasmere Butharlyp Howe for a few nights during my walk in the area. The accommodation was reasonably priced and the accessible bar was a nice touch. The food was good, including the packed lunch provided. The location was perfect, set in a beautiful park just a short walk from the center of town. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were great. it was a lovely stay and I would definitely consider returning.

The surroundings were beautiful and I got to witness the start of the new year in a serene place. the staff were polite and helpful with the hiking routes and places. There were communal spaces where people could interact, play games and relax. the breakfast was delicious and met my needs with a variety of choices. the atmosphere was calm and quiet.

The facilities were not good enough; the kitchen was crowded and outdated with limited cooking equipment.
