We had a great value for money at Yha. The rooms were perfect for a hostel stay, clean, and had convenient lights and plugs by each bed. The location was lovely, just a 20-minute walk along the river to the city center. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our family of 3 children. a very welcoming and comfortable stay.

The breakfast items could have been better. The coffee was burnt and the pizza I ordered had large chunks of raw vegetables and too much cheese.

We had a minor issue with our room not being cleaned upon arrival, but the staff at Yha York were quick to apologize and find us an alternative room. They even provided us with extra pillows when we requested them. The service was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.

The facilities include a bar, kitchen, and drying room. There are also books, jigsaws, and games available for entertainment. The breakfast is decent, with plenty of coffee and toast. The hostel offers a great value for the price.
