We stayed two nights in our little cottage. the cottage itself was clean and had a hearty air conditioner that cooled off the room quickly. Nora and the staff were terrific, providing us with everything we needed and giving us helpful directions to nearby areas. We loved our time at 2 River Inn and Cottages and would definitely go back.

Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a slight cigarette smoke smell in the room and limited outlets, overall I highly recommend this delightful inn.

the cottage was small, but comfortable and quiet. I loved the private porch where I could sit outside and relax. the location was convenient, close to the main road, but not too busy or noisy. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the cottage itself was freshly painted and extremely clean. It was well-equipped with everything I needed, from dishes and pans to a stove and refrigerator. it was a pleasant and relaxing stay for me, my husband, and our small dogs.

Just returned from a weekend getaway at this charming inn and cottages. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for local attractions. The cottage itself was beautiful and impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and did a fantastic job. I loved the convenient location, as it was only a short drive to the beach, zoo, and other attractions in Maine. There's even a local store across the street with delicious pizza and an ice cream shop with mouthwatering banana splits. We had a wonderful time at 2 River Road Inn and Cottages and will definitely be back next year.

The Marginal Way will lead you to Ogunquit with its world-famous beaches and longest-running Summer theatre, the Oqunguit Playhouse. Walking along this beautiful path felt like a journey into a romantic novel.

The staff was friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly upon arrival and assisting with our luggage. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable king-size bed and charming vintage furniture. The caretaker was outstanding, making us feel welcome and providing excellent service. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. The location was perfect, nestled in a rustic area surrounded by trees, yet conveniently close to Route 1 and offering a beautiful scenic drive along Shore Road.

The lack of outlets was inconvenient, particularly for those with electronic devices such as laptops and phones. Although not a major issue, having a microwave in the room would have been a nice addition.
