friendly staff, modern room, shower issue

I stayed for a family trip to catch a Sharks game, and the location was perfect for walking to the arena. The room was spacious and comfortable, which was great for us getting ready before the game. We appreciated the convenience of having a heated pool to unwind after the event. The breakfast options were nice, but a bit on the pricey side. Overall, it was a solid choice for our stay.

During my stay, I was surprised by the lack of information in my room regarding available amenities. The bed was excessively firm, making sleep very uncomfortable. Additionally, the parking fees felt unjustified, and I noticed the security in the garage was lacking a bit, which made me uneasy about leaving my vehicle there overnight.

The room was clean and the staff were super friendly. The shower, though, had terrible water pressure, making it a frustrating experience. The location is great for walking to nearby attractions, like SAP Center. Overall, a decent stay.

I almost considered a good review, but you know, the shower pressure was a tragedy, and the room was overpriced. I also expected a room upgrade for my 'extra ordinary' stay, but apparently that's too much to ask. Instead, I got a square toilet seat—how quaint! Absolutely not what I envisioned for my luxurious experience.

Consider asking for a room with windows facing away from the street to reduce noise levels during your stay.

the ac hotel by marriott san jose downtown was fantastic! the staff were super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. the location is perfect for nearby attractions like the sap center and various museums, all within easy walking distance. breakfast had great options, especially the delicious open-faced toast with fluffy eggs, prosciutto, garlic spread, and arugula! definitely enjoyable for a short stay.
