We had a delightful stay at Lil Black Bear Inn! Our host was attentive but not overbearing, and breakfast was fantastic. Despite the current circumstances, the staff made every effort to ensure our comfort. Although the weather didn't cooperate, we can't wait to return and enjoy the beautiful nature and facilities. Jim, our host, was a delight and even gave us great recommendations for discounted activities. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and the price was reasonable. The breakfast spread was superb, and we loved chatting with other guests and hearing their dining suggestions. Our room was peaceful, and the indoor air conditioner provided soothing white noise. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, although my husband would have preferred a wider variety of items. We enjoyed meeting the other guests and the friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere, with porch swings scattered around for us to relax on. this hotel provided excellent service, enhanced comfort, and a great location. The whirlpool and fireplace were amazing, just as we had hoped. the room had been recently updated, and the TV was a pleasant surprise. the provided snacks and breakfast were delicious. the innkeeper and her daughter were very friendly and accommodating. the property was beautiful, with spacious patios to enjoy the views. the provided robes and toiletries were a nice touch.

There were a few issues that affected our stay. We encountered a cockroach in our room, which was definitely a negative surprise.
