the inn at discovery coast is so modern and clean! the deluxe beach studio was extremely comfortable and pet-friendly, which was great for us. also, it’s super close to the pickled fish restaurant, where the breakfast options were tasty, especially the breakfast sandwich. we loved the beachfront location too!

Couples looking for a relaxing getaway

Had some nice moments like the added vegan options at the restaurant! Plus, we really enjoyed texting the front desk for service, made things easier for folks who don't like human interaction haha.

It wasn't cheap but I guess you could say it was tolerable.

It was just a great match for a quick layover in Long Beach with high value for money. I enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in my room with a glass of wine after a long day. Don’t forget to check out Captain Bob's Chowder for delicious crab rolls nearby.

Direct beach access made our stay truly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, we found the property quite confusing. Upon check-in, we were not informed that three of the rooms were in a different building, which led to unnecessary confusion as we tried to locate our suite. Additionally, the noise from neighboring rooms was quite bothersome. we could easily hear their conversations as well as a barking dog. The furniture in our room also felt worn and in need of updating, which detracted from the overall ambiance we hoped for.

My partner and I chose this place for a romantic getaway, and it truly delivered. The room was modern and pet-friendly, which made it perfect for us. We loved having direct access to the beach, and the heated pool was a great addition for those relaxing moments. The jetted tub in our room was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day out exploring nearby attractions. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

We loved using the beach cruiser bikes to explore the area! The views from our room were stunning, and the warm breakfast basket made mornings special. My adult kids appreciated the cozy pool area, and we even enjoyed the jetted tub after a day out.

In my wife’s opinion, the jetted tub needs maintenance.

We enjoyed the heated saline pool and rented beach cruiser bikes to explore. The staff was super helpful and the room was spacious, which worked great for our group. We made the most of our stay and would totally recommend checking out the games and DVD rentals for a fun night in!

Our check-in was a bit confusing, which made things start off rocky. But the team did their best to sort it out quickly.

Perfect ocean escape!

The ocean view was super calming, and the highlight was that deer visit! We could chill with snacks from the bar/lounge area while spotting it. The jetted tub was our fave, too. Only thing, the restaurant could use more options. Still, I'd recommend this spot for a romantic getaway.
