Traveling through Canon City, I stayed at American Inn Motel for a night. Despite its location on a busy street, the room was surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept clean. The owners, who also staffed the motel, were not only friendly but graciously attentive to any needs I had. Plus, the price was affordable compared to other lodging options.
