Charming historic home with warm hospitality.

My stay was quite disappointing. It felt more unfinished than the price warranted, and I struggled with basic necessities being missing in the bathroom. Overall, I hoped for a serene escape, but it fell short on multiple fronts.

The breakfast at Arroyo Vista Inn is a highlight, featuring tasty options like pancakes. However, I found the room layout challenging, particularly with a noisy air conditioner and limited bathroom amenities. The self-check-in process was smooth, but improving communication on arrival could enhance the experience. Great for a brief stay or for those who prioritize breakfast.

The complimentary wine and snacks upon arrival were a delightful touch, creating a warm atmosphere. Breakfast included delicious banana-walnut pancakes and a friendly chat with the chef, enhancing our stay significantly.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Arroyo Vista Inn, especially the delightful breakfast served hot from the kitchen. The cozy, homey atmosphere made it feel like a luxurious getaway. The view of the forest and the inviting front porch with a playful cat added a whimsical touch!

Navigating the tight parking and uneven pathway to my room could be a bit tricky, so be prepared to manage your luggage carefully. I did experience a slight noise from traffic, but it didn't overshadow the serene environment.

stayed in the Tree House room. loved the cozy vibe, super charming with a private balcony. had a bath with great toiletries, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. breakfast was a highlight with yummy pancakes. evening wine and cheese made it feel special. enjoyed the relaxing full body massage too. just a bit tricky with parking but totally worth it.

The location was excellent with easy access to family nearby. I enjoyed the evening wine selection and Janice's efforts in updating the space. My room featured a lovely balcony and charming outdoor cushions. The honor system for snacks and drinks was convenient. I appreciated the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere.

Just a decent option for a brief hiatus in South Pasadena with fantastic value for money. Enjoyed the cozy ambiance, which made for a restful night after visiting family. Check in is super easy with the door code. just keep an eye on your phone for any messages.

A little guidance on navigating that steep driveway after dark would have been helpful!!! It seems communication could be improved, especially regarding check-in procedures and assurance for the evening wine service!!! The hospitality left me wanting more!!!

That brekkie was lekker, hot and fresh! I’m fond of the cozy vibe, it felt like home. Plus, the self-check-in just made it easy-peasy. Oh, and the surrounding tree-covered hills gave me serious calm feels.

Had to figure out the steep driveway with my bakkie, could've used a map, but besides that, all good.

The room comfort, the level of cleanliness, the quality of toiletries was grewt.

I stayed in the Oak Terrace room and loved the balcony! It had beautiful views, and Janice was super nice, bringing fresh cushions for the chairs. The room felt cozy and charming. They also had evening wine available, which was a nice touch. Just a heads up, the parking can be a bit tricky if you're not used to steep driveways. But the overall vibe of the place made it worth it.
