As young holiday goers, we loved the convenient location near the highway and Blue Ridge Parkway. The spacious and well-appointed bedrooms created a great atmosphere. The kitchen area with a fridge and drink making facilities was a convenient perk. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. And let's not forget the amazing breakfast that was both delicious and beautifully presented.

I had the most wonderful stay at the Black Lantern. The hosts, Chris and Jayne, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure my arrival and departure times were convenient for me. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious - homemade, organic, and healthy. I especially loved the maple yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. The location of the inn was perfect, within walking distance of the historic district. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend the Black Lantern to anyone visiting the area.

I loved the location of this hotel in Roanoke. It was conveniently situated near the historic district and Roanoke's Market Square, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, transportation options were readily available, allowing me to easily visit the restaurant that the staff had recommended. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. Additionally, the staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Friendly owners, tastefully decorated room with a comfy bed and jacuzzi bath. Upstairs kitchenette stocked with drinks and snacks. Delicious breakfast with fresh organic fruits, homemade pastries, and sweet potato pancakes. Conveniently located near the highway with ample parking.

The hotel was clean and had great facilities. The parking was convenient and transportation options were easily accessible. The location was close to a restaurant that was recommended to me, and it was also a short distance from the historic district of this city.
