We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. The location was convenient for our desired areas to visit. The shuttle service, although we didn't use it, was a cool addition. The inclusion of Starbucks coffee in the bar area was perfect. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the options available for us at the hotel's restaurant.

We felt right at home during our stay and had no complaints at all.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in South Austin. The staff were very courteous and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The rooms were well-appointed with comfortable beds, including the customary wonderful Marriott mattress. I appreciated the attention to detail, such as the clean and spacious bathroom. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of items to start the day.

Had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! The Christmas decorations were amazing and really put me in the holiday spirit. Checking in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant had excellent service and the food was top-notch. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was fully staffed and maintained during the Christmas period.

The room cleanliness could have been better. There were foreign objects on the floor and black hair on the bed sheets.

Fantastic Shuttle Service

During my recent stay at the Austin Marriott South, I was fortunate to experience the fantastic shuttle service provided by Ching. Ching, an immigrant who has been with the hotel for 40 years, went above and beyond to make my trips to downtown Austin convenient and enjoyable. He was kind, courteous, and incredibly helpful, providing valuable insights on the best places to visit in the city. With Ching as the shuttle driver, I didn't even need to use Uber throughout my stay. The hotel's commitment to customer service, exemplified by Ching, is truly commendable. I highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding shuttle service and exceptional guest experience.

Room for 4 didn't have 2 King beds, but got 2 roll in beds. Great location, parking, friendliness, and area. Shuttle service charge, $5 per ride, should be included in package deal. Welcoming staff, clean room, free coffee, tea, and water. Comfortable beds, nice lobby, and bar, free parking.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to the airport and conveniently situated on a strip mall of hotels along I-35. We were able to easily access everything in the city without dealing with downtown traffic. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and our room was spacious and effective for our needs. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing us with a warm smile upon arrival. We were also impressed with the complimentary amenities such as free coffee, tea, and water provided during our stay. Additionally, the breakfast options offered through room service were fantastic, reasonably priced, and had a great variety of choices.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, always greeting us with a smile. The room was clean and smelled fresh. We loved the pillows! The location was great, near the Colorado River and I35. The breakfast at the bar/restaurant was amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent as we got a corporate rate applied to our stay, which made it very affordable. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. They were always willing to help and made us feel very welcome. And finally, the location of the hotel proved to be advantageous as we were able to avoid heavy traffic by taking a different route, which made getting to the hotel much easier. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.

The only small drawback I encountered was that the hotel was a little difficult to access, though they did provide an alternate address for GPS use.

We recently stayed at a hotel located outside of downtown, close to various local events and right off of I-35. The location was convenient and we were easily able to explore the city. The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and special touches like chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Rosè. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Additionally, the hotel was close to the airport, which made our travels hassle-free.

We did notice that the room and bathroom were a bit dated and could use some renovations.
