The view from the back deck at Back Inn Time was absolutely breathtaking. I could have spent hours just admiring the beauty of the surroundings. The historic Victorian charm of the house, with its old furniture and paintings, was like stepping back in time. The bed and linen were incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. And let me tell you about the breakfasts! Each morning, Karenmarie, the host herself, served up a different delicious dish that was both tasty and truly special. Her cooking skills were absolutely phenomenal. I also had the pleasure of sharing a glass of wine with Karenmarie, and she truly impressed me with her warmth, kindness, and openness. My stay at Back Inn Time in St. Albans was an absolute delight, and it left me with a wonderful impression of the place.

We had a lovely time on our city trip and really enjoyed our accommodations. the breakfast was amazing! Each morning we were treated to a delicious and different dish. , the location was perfect, easily accessible to everything we wanted to see while still being in a peaceful area. the building itself was absolutely beautiful with its old furniture and charming decor. We especially enjoyed spending time on the back deck taking in the scenic views.

While we did enjoy our stay overall, there were a few drawbacks. we found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable and worn, which made for some less-than-stellar sleep.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is within walking distance of multiple restaurants and stores in town. The breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely wonderful, with fresh and deliciously prepared dishes. The dining area is spacious and overlooks a beautiful garden in the side yard. Additionally, the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

It would have been even better if the hotel had a hot tub.
