The property was well-lit and safe, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The grounds were well-maintained, and the building itself fit in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The office was easy to find, and the staff were friendly, informative, and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, including extra towels and a wine corkscrew. The room layout was spacious and well-thought-out, with thoughtful extras like a game table and a supply of dishes. The wifi was good and there was plenty of hot water. We highly recommend Backwoods Lodge to anyone visiting the area.
