The peace and tranquility of the lodge was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. the lack of modern distractions like phones and TVs added to the serene atmosphere. the view from the sunny deck was stunning, offering a beautiful natural backdrop. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

Transportation to the lodge was a challenge, with limited options available. Lack of clear information beforehand led to difficulties in reaching the hotel.

I recently stayed at Banning House in Two Harbors for a weekend getaway. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The views from every corner of the lodge were breathtaking, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including warm pastries, boiled eggs, and fresh cut fruits. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I enjoyed complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends, and I can't wait to go back!

The hotel is a great value for money and is situated in a prime location just up the hill from the small town. The private balcony with a bathtub was a fantastic extra touch of luxury. The staff were very attentive and breakfast was delicious.

The view of the ocean from both sides of the island is absolutely fantastic. The common areas of the old historic house are a joy to explore. The hotel manager, Tyler Smith, made me feel very welcome with his professionalism and attention to detail. The breakfast offerings exceeded my expectations. Despite a few drawbacks, I would definitely recommend staying at Banning House Of. it was a great experience.

The walk uphill late at night without a shuttle was a bit inconvenient.

The presence of unattended children banging on the piano at the lodge disturbed the serene ambiance for a time. It would be helpful if the piano were restricted for use by adults or trained children.
