Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel during Christmas! the location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. the staff was friendly and check, in/check, out was a breeze. the room was comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. Plus, they had a cool lounge area with a selection of alcohol, making it easy to relax and unwind without going far.

Also, it would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room for more food options, although they did provide an in, room cooler. these small negatives didn't detract from a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Basecamp in North Lake Tahoe! the location was excellent, just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the river walkway. the room was incredibly clean and the beds were warm and comfortable. We were impressed with the efficient air conditioning, especially during the colder weather. the motel had great WiFi and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We also appreciated that CVS and Safeway were conveniently located across the road. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Tahoe City!

During my Christmas stay at a charming hotel in Tahoe City, I absolutely loved the hipster mountain feel. the location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and bars just a short walk away. Plus, having a grocery store and pharmacy across the street was a huge convenience. the hotel provided outdoor fire pits for cozy s’mores nights, a cozy lobby with big screens and games, and breathtaking views of the lake.

I found the rooms to be a bit dark, lacking natural daylight and requiring the use of electric lights even during the day. the room amenities were a bit quirky and minimalistic, which some guests might find inconvenient.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Friendly staff, cozy and clean rooms. Enjoyed the community vibe in the lobby with great options for eating and drinking. Loved the newly renovated space with Tahoe-themed decor. Perfect location near the lake for outdoor activities with our dog. Comfortable beds, substantial breakfast, and evening fire pit areas for relaxing. Great base for exploring beautiful Tahoe.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

We stayed for a few nights and loved every minute. The room with the tent around the kind bed was a hit with our 4-year-old. The communal areas with the bar, fireplace, and fire pits were great for hanging out at night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even cleaned our car of the snow. The hotel had trendy decor and cool souvenirs in the lobby. We can't wait to come back!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. my experience was fantastic and I would happily stay here again.

Newly renovated rooms with stylish decor, highlighting the beauty of Tahoe and the outdoor lifestyle. Convenient location just across the street from the lake, perfect for leisurely walks or letting your furry friend enjoy some playtime.

The LED display on the heater/ac unit was quite bright at night, making it a little challenging to sleep. However, a simple solution of placing a post-it note over the light helped diffuse the brightness.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The bar was a fun place to relax and the breakfast in the morning had a good selection. One minor downside was that the heater in our room didn't heat the room up as much as we would have liked, but overall I highly recommend this hotel.

We even received a small congratulatory gift for our honeymoon, which was a lovely surprise. a great experience!
