We had a fantastic stay at Best Western Hunt's Landing! The room was spacious and had a lovely mountain view where we even spotted deer grazing at dusk. The breakfast selection was impressive with both hot and cold options available each morning. The staff were super helpful, especially the front desk clerk who provided great directions for our local outings.

The only downside was a bit of a wait at check-in due to a reservation mix-up.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the rooms are clean. The 24-hour open drink area in the lobby was a delightful surprise for late-night relaxation.

The elevators were problematic during my stay. one was out of service, which caused inconvenience as I had to walk quite a distance. The bathroom in my room was incredibly dated and in serious need of overhaul, with a shower that barely had any water pressure and an unstable toilet, making it uncomfortable. My attempts to report these issues seemed to be met with indifference at the front desk.

The breakfast was impressive with a variety of hot and cold options. However, I encountered a leaking toilet in my first room, requiring a swift room change. The maintenance staff was responsive and accommodating throughout my stay.

Enjoyed the made-to-order omelets at breakfast. it's worth asking for them. The outdoor patio overlooking the pond is a great spot to unwind.

oh where do i begin? the ice machine was out of order, how can a hotel not have ice? ! My river view turned into a parking lot view, very charming. And, i was really hoping for a complimentary gesture for my troubles—like a welcome basket or something extravagant but nope, just regular service. i guess good reviews aren’t in the cards for me.

It was just a great match for a swift visit in Matamoras with good price value. The reception desk ladies were very friendly and offered quick assistance when I needed help with my luggage. Make sure to check if the elevators are working during busy hours, as they can be inconvenient!

This place suits me perfectly! With great amenities like wi-fi, indoor pool, and a fitness center, I always feel at home. On my first stay, the staff helped me find places with a good exchange rate. Highly recommend enjoying breakfast too. I’m coming back for a city break!

I noticed some carpets needed replacing, and the bathroom could use a refresh. But it was clean and functional for a night. Appreciate the dog-friendly vibes and the lovely views from my window!
