My family and I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express in Federal Way. We stayed for three nights and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The location was convenient, with Wild Waves only 12 minutes away and Target just around the corner. The staff was friendly and accommodating, quickly moving us to a quieter room with no hesitation. The breakfast in the morning was enjoyable and the room itself was clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub were spacious, although the water could have been tested more regularly.

Despite a few minor issues, I highly recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable for the amenities and services provided. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located near the places I needed to be, with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The staff were attentive and the basic amenities in the rooms were satisfactory. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as having real mugs for coffee instead of disposable ones.

Although all was generally okay, I would have liked to see more gluten-free or low-carb options for breakfast.

The lighting in the rooms could be improved. The hotel has only one wall sconce and no other lighting, making the rooms quite dark.

The highlight for the kids was the unique bunk beds in our room, making it a memorable stay. The hotel's location was also perfect, conveniently situated between Seattle and Olympia.
