i recently stayed at the st charles inn, superior and it totally exceeded my previous experiences in new orleans. the cozy, well-decorated room had two sinks which was super convenient. free parking and the lovely staff made our stay even better. We loved being right next to the streetcar.

the continental breakfast options could be improved.

I found the street noise from the streetcar quite disruptive!!! Considering the hotel’s price point, a little renovation to update the room décor would enhance comfort!!! Also, limited parking spaces can be a hassle when busy!!!

free parking was a huge bonus , and the breakfast had such a rad mix of stuff. the staff were super welcoming and always handy if i needed anything. location was perfect for hopping on the streetcar to explore the city!

Everything was up to par.

The beds were flippin' comfy and the brekkie was quite fine! Loved the vintage vibe in the decor, it just adds so much charm. Even had an adjacent restaurant with good prices, which made life easy.

Parking was a bit of a mission, not many spaces, but there’s overflow nearby.

The St Charles Inn is such a charming place! I adored the spacious rooms with delightful vintage decor, providing a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast choices were superb, especially the homemade quiche and sweet rolls that I just couldn't resist.

The location was ideal, sitting right off the trolley line, which made city exploration seamless. The ambiance of the building maintained its historic charm, complementing the clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast featured homemade pastries that exceeded expectations, and the complimentary treats in the afternoon added a delightful touch. Unfortunately, parking was a hassle, as available spots filled quickly, necessitating use of a nearby garage. While service was commendable overall, there were minor gaps that could be polished for an even better experience.

We had a fun day at the Audubon Zoo, and being so close to the streetcar made getting around super easy with the kids. The rooms were spacious and quiet, and the breakfast selection kept everyone happy, especially the kids with so many choices.

My kids wished there were clearer signs for the elevator restrictions.

The cozy corner suite had large windows, a comfy king bed, and an easy layout for our dogs. We enjoyed the nearby trolley and lovely historical homes.

Felt fine, nothing to complain about.
