I stayed at Best Western in Salinas for over 15 days and had an incredible experience. The staff exceeded my expectations, handling any issues promptly and competently. They even helped me with unexpected extensions to my stay. The room was well-equipped and the hotel was conveniently located for exploring Monterey and Carmel. I have traveled extensively and never encountered a better hotel staff. Definitely my go-to choice for future visits.

The staff was also very friendly and provided excellent service. The location was perfect with easy access and convenience, although it may be a little out of the way for some. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast, although fairly limited, was a nice addition with a nice variety of foods available.

They were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Thirdly, the basic amenities in the room were great, with a comfortable bed, fresh toiletries, and fluffy towels. The attention to detail in the rooms, with furnishings that felt like they came straight out of my Grandma's attic, added a touch of vintage charm to our stay. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast included a variety of options and kept us energized for the day ahead.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, despite being near the freeway. We booked two rooms and they were able to upgrade one to a suite at no charge, allowing us to have both rooms close to each other. The hotel had a great location right off Hwy 101, with plenty of eating places nearby. The building itself was clean, bright, and had a nice architectural design. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were awesome. We also appreciated the free continental breakfast that included some protein options like hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The hotel even had refrigerators in the rooms and plug outlets on lamp bases for easy charging of our electronics.

We felt very cared for during our stay and had no reason to complain.

We also appreciated the owner's son who provided us with valuable tips for our day trip planning. the room was spacious and well-maintained, and we were upgraded to a suite for free, which was a nice surprise. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location near the freeway offramp made it easy for us to explore the area.

The lighting in the room was not ideal, as the fluorescent/economy type lights gave off a cold and unpleasant vibe. It would have been nicer to have more natural and warmer lighting options.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff. The bed was super comfy, perfect for a one-night stay.

The Best Western Salinas Monterey exceeded my expectations with its stunning architecture, quiet location, and excellent amenities including a pool and hot tub. The staff, especially Peter, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist with my electric vehicle charging needs. The comfortable beds, amazing pillows, and convenient plug outlets made for a truly enjoyable and restful stay.

During our stay, we enjoyed exploring the area and stumbled upon some great eateries within walking distance. The location was also great as it was close to several tourist places that we didn't even know existed. We also appreciated its proximity to shopping centers, which made our stay more convenient.

The room had some maintenance issues, and the breakfast lacked variety compared to other hotels we have stayed at.

The peaceful ambiance allowed for complete relaxation after a long trip. it was the best hotel experience I've had since moving to the US one year ago!
