During my xmas stay, I really liked the waffles for breakfast and the friendly staff. It was great to start the day with a delicious breakfast and the staff was always helpful and had a smile on their faces. Additionally, the hotel had a key location with nice river views and scenery just outside. It was really enjoyable to have such a beautiful view right at my doorstep.

There were a few things that I didn't like about my stay. the privacy drapes in the room did not close completely, which was a bit frustrating.

The full hot breakfast and free bottled water were great perks as well. a fantastic stay!

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Des Moines while my son competed in the AAU Junior Olympics. Our room was clean and well-laid out with a view of the river and the capitol. We even got to watch a firework show from our room after a baseball game. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, the Science Center, and a grocery store. We even enjoyed walking to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. The staff members were friendly and welcoming to athletes. If you're traveling with kids, I highly recommend this hotel.
