The location is a gem, right across from Oaklawn Casino, and a fantastic pizza spot, Rocky's, next door. The staff were genuinely caring—helped my husband with heartburn meds and guided us to the ER when a friend got hurt. The family room was spacious and clean, perfect for teenagers needing their space. the air conditioning leaked, and our room had an odd cigarette smell that wouldn’t fade. Cleaning services were nonexistent during our five-night stay, leaving us with damp towels. Still, the warm breakfast team made mornings brighter. Quite a mix of experiences!

The pool was huge and the kids really enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for our whole family including the dogs.

It wasn't the cheapest place I've stayed, but the value for what you get is alright.

Great place to stay. Super friendly staff, especially at breakfast. Room had comfy beds, fridge, microwave, and a flat-screen TV. Loved the clean bathroom with nice toiletries. The fitness center was a plus, and the pool area was tidy. Perfect location near the casino and local attractions. Free parking and good breakfast options made it even better.

I had an amazing time exploring the area, as the hotel is just a few steps across the street from Oaklawn Park Casino-Racetrack, which added a thrill to my stay, and within 2 kilometers, I easily accessed wonderful attractions like the Gangster Museum of America, Riley Art Glass Studio, and several parks, allowing for lovely leisurely walks; the hotel itself was comfortable with friendly staff and a generous breakfast, but it could improve by ensuring cleaner rooms and features like regular trash service.

The bathroom had cigarette remnants, and the shower left much to be desired. A billing issue surfaced when I checked in. Staff can be hit or miss. While some were attentive, others lacked urgency. Improvements in housekeeping are essential. I appreciate the positives, but I left feeling frustrated. Consider better management of room assignments and customer service.
