We had a romantic escape and enjoyed the cozy ambiance of our cabin. the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to have a restful night's sleep. We also loved the beautiful views from our window, which added to the overall romantic atmosphere. Additionally, the location was perfect, being close to various attractions and restaurants. It was convenient for us to explore and experience everything the area had to offer.

The price was quite high for the accommodation. We felt that it could have been more reasonably priced, considering the facilities and amenities provided.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge! It was ideally located close to the mountains, within walking distance from the lakefront and in a great spot to explore all the area has to offer. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful bathroom with plenty of room. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We especially appreciated the cozy gas fireplace in our room and the lovely garden.

The internet connection was very poor.

I recently stayed at a beautiful lodge in Lake Tahoe and had an amazing experience. The privacy and comfort of the Superior King Room on the second floor of the main lodge were exceptional. The attention to detail and high-quality amenities made me feel like I was in a 5-star hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the owners clearly know how to run a business. Whether you want to hike or enjoy the water, this lodge is in the perfect location. And let's not forget the cozy fireplace in the room and the hot tub, which made our evenings even more delightful. The spacious two-bedroom unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The peaceful garden behind the main building added to the overall charm of the place. Despite some drawbacks like the poor Wi-Fi connection and the shared walls in certain cabins, I still highly recommend this lodge for a memorable stay. I had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

The location was perfect, just off the main road but still quiet and charming. the cozy cabins were clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and a warm fireplace. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved sitting out in the courtyard each afternoon, surrounded by beautiful flowers, herbs, and towering pine trees. Meeting other friendly guests added to the welcoming atmosphere.

Although we had a great stay, it would have been better with better lighting in the room and bathroom, especially for older eyes. It would have also been convenient to have a small fridge in the room, as there was no buffet eating available.

I absolutely loved my stay at this place! The location was perfect, right on Ski Run Boulevard in South Tahoe. The service was top-notch, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean and comfortable. The room amenities were great, including the heating system, tea and coffee facilities, and a cozy sitting area. I also enjoyed spending time in the beautiful garden, with its comfortable garden furniture. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, and the dining bar/lounge area was a great spot to relax. I appreciated the picnic area/tables, perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the leisure jacuzzi was a perfect way to unwind after a long day. The free Wi-Fi and parking were convenient perks that enhanced my stay. this venue provided everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This place is perfect for families!

My recent stay at Black Bear Lodge was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short distance from downtown and all the activities, yet still secluded enough to provide privacy. I loved the personal touches added by the staff to make our stay enjoyable, and the kitchenette in the room was a must-have for preparing meals. The cabins themselves were cute, quiet, comfortable, and clean, tucked away under the beautiful ponderosa pine trees. The surroundings were tranquil with the sound of a large fountain and birds chirping in the morning. The rustic decor added a luxurious touch to the overall comfort. The beds and linens were fabulous, and the water pressure in the bathrooms was strong. Despite a few minor drawbacks like weak Wi-Fi and undergoing renovations in some areas, the value for the price was still decent. I highly recommend Black Bear Lodge for a wonderful vacation experience.
