Rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, with attention to detail. the bed was super comfy and the surroundings were quiet, making for a restful stay. the morning continental breakfast delivered to the room was a great touch, allowing for a leisurely start to the day. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Anza Borrego State Park was a huge advantage, providing easy access to outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.

The coffee provided was not up to par, especially for those accustomed to gourmet blends. It was weak even when using two packets in the coffee maker.

Buffet breakfast exceeded expectations with hot cooked options and a variety of choices. Lovely complex and stunning views from the shower. Small but clean and well-equipped room.

This year, Matthew surprised us with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The breakfast buffet, prepared by Georgetta and Christopher, is absolutely lavish and caters to every taste. Whether we're hiking, biking, swimming, napping, walking.

During my recent stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and pampered experience at Borrego Valley Inn. The intimate and adult-only atmosphere created a serene environment that allowed me to truly unwind. The room was well-appointed with a cozy gas fireplace, refrigerator, and a TV/DVD setup, providing all the comforts I needed after a day of exploring the desert. The on-site swimming pool was a welcome feature, and I also loved the fact that a delicious breakfast was delivered right to my door each morning, complete with fresh-squeezed orange juice.

I do have to mention the bugs and strange sounds I encountered at night, which I believe were coyotes. While it added a certain level of creepiness, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.
