located conveniently, with a lovely back porch for serene mornings overlooking the mountains. the breakfasts were a delightful treat (a perfect start to the day! ). snacks in the afternoon were also a great touch. hosts were warm and attentive, offering helpful suggestions on local attractions and dining options.

Parking can be inconveniencing during busy periods!!! Some rooms are quite small, making mobility with luggage a bit of a chore!!! The presence of noisy plumbing in certain areas could definitely be distracting!!!

Our stay at the Brass Lantern Inn was nothing short of a scene from a romantic movie. Picture perfect mornings started with George’s breakfast — fresh fruit, a symphony of flavors we couldn’t get enough of, and views that could charm the grouchiest of early risers! It felt like being cradled in the warm embrace of a Vermont fall, with Mary Anne and George as our overly enthusiastic tour guides. They even made us feel so at home that we began to wonder if we were actually part of their family! Who knew you could find such heartfelt hospitality tucked away near a cozy fireplace, all while nibbling on homemade cookies? This place is like a warm hug after a long day of exploring!

From the moment we arrived, Mary Ann and George made us feel like part of the family. Each morning started off right with an incredible breakfast featuring fresh, local ingredients and delightful conversations. We loved lounging by the fireplace, enjoying evening cookies while chatting with other guests. The views from the common areas were nothing short of breathtaking!

The only downside was that our stay wasn't long enough! We wished we'd booked more nights to soak in every aspect of this lovely inn. It’s best to have a vehicle since walking to town might take a bit more effort, especially in snowy weather.
