Cozy and clean rooms. Poor cancellation policy and unhelpful staff.

The location is great and the room was cozy.

Our balcony was decorative only and windows barely opened. The management refused to help us change our reservation when my son got sick, which felt really uncaring.

We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for traveling with our two-year-old daughter. The room was clean, spacious, and felt more like a house than a hotel. The location was amazing, just a short walk from downtown Carmel with its restaurants and shops. If we come back, we'll definitely stay here again.

The best location in town. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. They provided complimentary wine and chocolates in the room which was a very nice touch. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Carmel.

Briarwood Inn's location in the center of Carmel was ideal for exploring the town's charming stores and restaurants. The staff was friendly, and the room with the king size bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered was delicious with high quality ingredients.

The 2 bedroom family room with parking was spacious and comfortable, and the service from the staff was impeccable. We enjoyed the complimentary dessert wine tasting in the lobby and appreciated the helpful restaurant recommendations at check-in. The breakfast offerings were great, and we enjoyed the option to take a tray to our room. The cozy fireplace in our room added a nice touch, and the king-size bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. a beautiful and convenient place to stay in Carmel.

No air conditioning in the rooms, making it too hot during the summer. Some rooms were not safe and had no proper handrails and screens on the windows.
