The room was splendidly updated with a beautiful bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. The entry doors to rooms in a hallway added a cozy and safe feel. Unfortunately, the flooring was damaged; both the carpet and linoleum needed attention. Noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable, especially conversations that carried through. The shower was fancier than at most motels. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a variety of cooked options. Staff were friendly and helpful. A minor issue was the inoperable Direct TV, which left us without any TV service.

That caused concern, especially with my health history. On a brighter note, the staff handled a forgotten backpack with professionalism, calming our panic during a long drive. Plenty of good elements, but the inconsistencies left us wishing for more.

I absolutely loved that everything important in downtown Baker City was just a short walk away, with charming restaurants, beautifully restored buildings, and wide, clean streets to stroll on, making our weekend adventures so easy and enjoyable, plus our spacious room had nice amenities like a good shower and a comfy bed, but the bathroom could have used a little more counter space.

The room was a disaster—tiny, dirty, and the bathroom was a slick hazard for my toddler. I couldn’t believe the mold everywhere; we all woke up coughing. It felt more like a health risk than a place to stay.

Loved waking up to deer in the garden! the rooms were cozy with kitchenettes. Enjoyed quick breakfast options. Close to downtown and restaurants. Only drawback was limited parking. 🚗
