Great spot with a few quirks

The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. Loved the location—just a short walk to downtown and the beach. Super nice valet staff, really friendly and quick. The check-in took forever and I had to deal with a running toilet, which was annoying. Still, the neighborhood was quiet and the bus from the airport was easy to catch.

The Bristol Hotel's prime downtown location and comfortable rooms made my stay delightful. The spacious and clean room, equipped with a coffee maker, felt like a home away from home. Being within walking distance from the Gaslamp Quarter and the waterfront added a layer of convenience to my trip.

The valet parking charge and the additional hold on my card were . The extra fees and the poor attitude of the valet parking attendant left a negative impression on an otherwise pleasant stay.

We hit up the San Diego Zoo and it was wild – lions roaring, monkeys swinging, you name it. Plus, Downtown was lit with so many cool shops and places to hang out. The hotel's central location made it easy to bounce around!

Wish there was a rooftop party area for late-night hangouts.

I always return for the friendly staff and late departure help. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, bar, fitness studio, and beach access. The 24-hour reception, flat-screen TV, and business center are convenient. I'll come back for city breaks.

The Bristol Hotel provided us with a great location for our stay, as we were able to conveniently walk to nearby attractions such as Gaslamp, Little Italy, and the USS Midway. The room was clean and the wifi worked well. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to switch to a two queen-bed room with a smile. The hotel had a charming family-like atmosphere, reflected in the lobby's grand piano and wooden panel decor.

Staying at The Bristol Hotel in San Diego was convenient for my transit, with its close proximity to Santa Fe Depot, making it easy to access Amtrak and MTS Trolley for my onward journey. the hotel's location just 5 km from San Diego International Airport made my travel arrangements seamless, allowing for quick and efficient transfers.

During my stay, the housekeeping service fell short of expectations. The oversight of not fully clearing the garbage and leaving breakfast dishes in the room was a minor inconvenience.

the front desk staff was often rude and ignored us. we also had issues with missing weights in the gym and a broken shower door handle.

We had such a great stay at this luxurious hotel! The beds were incredibly comfortable and made for a perfect night's sleep. The shower was also great - the water pressure was just right. The hotel itself was very nice and had a pleasant atmosphere. The staff, including the friendly white guy and women, were so kind and helpful. We felt truly taken care of during our stay.

I recently stayed at The Bristol Hotel for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and responsive. The room had a modern decor and was well-equipped with plenty of plugs for all my electronics. I loved the smart TV with HDMI interface and the convenient tablet for alarm clock and hotel interaction. The glass-enclosed shower was a highlight, and there was ample counter space in the bathroom. The luggage rack with a shoe rack was a thoughtful addition, and the lighting was excellent. a great experience.

The Bristol Hotel was perfectly located for exploring San Diego. I loved the yellow and gray décor in the room and the staff was very helpful when my room's air conditioner malfunctioned. I recommend this hotel.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience, with a perfect location right in the heart of the city. You can walk to several Touristy locations like the USS Midway and Balboa Park. The staff was so helpful and friendly, making us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with fantastic amenities like the USB ports in the lamps beside the bed and a coffee machine. The fitness room on the ninth floor was small but efficient.

The Wi-Fi provided by a third party was a bit problematic with unstable signals and poor connections.

Excellent downtown location. Recently refurbished with spacious and immaculately clean rooms, including very comfortable beds. Attentive and friendly staff. Would definitely return. 👍

The Bristol Hotel exceeded our expectations with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and good water pressure in the showers. The lobby was inviting, with plenty of seating and friendly staff. It was conveniently located in the Gas Lamp area, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions. We also appreciated the accommodating staff who went the extra mile to answer our questions and even opened up the dining room for us when we wanted to eat in.
