Came across a charming little place after a long day on the road. The owner LaCynda was incredibly welcoming, shared some cool local history, and whipped up some tasty chili for us when we were stuck nearby, made our night!

It wasn’t inexpensive but still worth the experience.

The walk to the lodge was a bit tricky due to the lack of a clear path, especially with snowy conditions.

The hot shower with excellent water pressure was a standout feature after a long day on the road, really refreshing. plus, the rustic western decor added a unique charm to the experience.

However, there were some cleanliness concerns, like issues with the bathrooms and bedding not meeting expectations. The outdated facilities could use a renovation to appeal to modern travelers, and limited dining options in the evening felt restricted for hungry guests. Plus, the loud music from local events did create a bit of a disturbance late at night.

buffalo lodge is a cozy spot just off the freeway, making it super convenient. lucinda, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. the room was comfy and offered great water pressure in the shower, which really helped us unwind after a long drive.

Had an awesome time at the lodge with friends! We played billiards, and it was great to unwind after a day of exploring. The internet was reliable for planning our next adventure. Highly recommend stopping by the cafe for a bite, too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make this place a gem!

Unfortunately, we faced a bit of a challenge getting to the lodge due to poor road conditions. We had to walk quite a bit, which was kind of rough in the cold.

Charming spot with a cozy vibe! LaCynda’s warm welcome and tales of local history made our stay special. The room was spotless and provided the best sleep I've had in ages, quite the oasis after our long drive.

Finding the place was a bit like a treasure hunt! Not sure if my GPS was broken, but I nearly ended up in a Wyoming cornfield instead!
