Great value for the location. Friendly staff, enjoyable 2-mile walk to downtown. Lovely pool area with a convenient bar and restaurant. Perfect for those with pets, with a grassy area for them. Within walking distance to nearby shops and cafes. Classic Tiki architecture, clean rooms, modern bathrooms, and comfy furniture. Large room with quality amenities. Free and fast Wi-Fi, no hidden fees. Will definitely return to Caliente Tropics.

The epic steaks are fire, rooms are rad, and cool tiki theme rocks. Loved the pool vibes and fridge in the room. Nearby eats like The Reef and Seymour's are clutch. Cons: TV glitchy but fixed, cold shower saga, and some joint closures. a caliente spot for foodie fun in Palm Springs. Cheers to the good times!

The views from Caliente Tropics were fantastic, right on the strip with a beautiful garden view. The large outdoor pool with stunning mountain views was a highlight, perfect for relaxing. We had a memorable interaction with the friendly staff at the Reef Bar, who made our evening enjoyable with great food and drinks.

The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, often going hot/cold then completely cold.

Although I paid extra for the Tahitian Lanai King room, it wasn't worth it - identical to the standard room. Wifi was promised but didn't work, and the privacy wasn't significantly different. Stick with the standard room for a better value at Caliente Tropics.

The location was convenient, and the pool area had a nice atmosphere with tiki torches. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. The bar staff on Sunday night was extremely accommodating with preparing a gluten-free meal, showing a true understanding of dietary needs. However, the noise levels at night from the bar disrupted our sleep, and the cleanliness of the pool left something to be desired. The check-in experience was marred by confrontational behavior, leading to issues with room temperature for our pet. Despite these setbacks, the outside appearance of the property was appealing.

Caliente Tropics exceeded expectations – friendly staff, clean rooms, and a quiet location. Pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and quality service. the pool area and free parking were added bonuses. Great value for the price.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience compared to other places I've stayed at. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the retro tiki vibe throughout the property was charming, and the rooms were clean and spacious. the tiki bar had the best drinks I've had in a long time, and the two on-site restaurants were convenient and well-priced. Overall, the ambiance and vibe of this hotel were unbeatable.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the noise level from ongoing construction activities. I experienced disturbances from loud construction work happening in a neighboring room, causing inconvenience.

I always return here for my romantic escapes. The staff once helped me with heavy baggage, very kind. With Wi-Fi, a lovely pool, and a fitness center, plus a massage and great food, it suits me perfectly. 24-hour reception and secure parking make me feel taken care of.

The beautiful landscape, including strategically placed bunkers and rolling terrain, provided a challenging yet enjoyable experience for both me and my children. The stunning views of the mountains added an extra layer of enjoyment to our day.

In my wife's opinion, more children-friendly activities would have been a great addition for families.

We hit up the Cimarron golf course, which was straight out of a video game - rolling terrain, bunkers like traps, and views for days! And later, we checked out the world-class layouts at Taqhuiz Creek, it was so lit!

It would be dope if the hotel organized more poolside parties or events for young party-goers.

I chose this hotel for a team retreat as it provides outdoor meeting space and can easily accommodate tents of most sizes with or without AC. The outdoor area was perfect for our workshops and team-building activities, and the staff was helpful in setting everything up.

One service that I missed for our work retreat was a dedicated business center or meeting room for more formal meetings and presentations.

We had a fantastic stay at this venue! The location is superb, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. We loved being able to relax by the pool with the floating tubes they provide and listen to the Hawaiian music playing in the background. The staff, including the manager who was very attentive to our request for late check-out after a cycling event, were responsive and friendly. The housekeeping service was excellent, ensuring our room was clean and well-maintained. We also enjoyed the welcome drink upon arrival.
